Quality and Durability – Today’s skate parks run the full gamut in materials used and construction methods; from plywood ramps to massive concrete parks, durability and quality play a vital role in the life-span of your new skate park. You could build a skate park with lesser quality materials, only to end up replacing or repairing it after a few short years or even months.

Woodward Ramps and Rails have been designed right from the start with the highest quality materials and workmanship with a controlled manufacturing process. As a result, they are built to withstand extreme conditions, including weather and use. Playworld Systems, Inc. is ISO 9001:2000 Certified – the strictest quality certification standard and program in the world.

Weathering – All steel used in the construction is galvanized. Before a component is powder coated, we wash all metal using a 3-stage wash process with rust-inhibiting additives. We back our structural steel components with an outstanding 15-year Warranty.

Our ˝” HDPE decking subsurface, used as part of our Triple-Layer Surfacing, is marine grade, high-density polyethylene. This product has been used in public parks and recreational equipment for many years, repeatedly demonstrating its suitability under tough environmental conditions. We do not use foam-formed polyethylene, which will crack and allow moisture to enter the plastic and subsurface of the ramp or deck below, increasing its deterioration over time.

Skatelite® Pro – Specifically designed to maintain a good riding surface. Resistant to moisture and various weather conditions. Because of our unique Triple-Layer surfacing design, Woodward Ramps and Rails is able to carry a 5-Year Warranty on Skatelite® Pro. Factory CNC Manufacturing – CNC computerized routing of Skatelite® Pro riding surface, HDPE subsurface and CNC laser-cut steel ensure an outstanding fit and finish for sturdier, safer, and more attractive equipment. Woodward Ramps and Rails are fully manufactured in a controlled environment and complete when delivered, for precise fit and easy installation. No on-site cutting, grinding or welding is required.
